About the Scarbroughs
Our ministry in Yucatan
John and Rebeca have been working in the State of Yucatan in Mexico from their early beginnings with YWAM Minneapolis since 1998. Their founding director had worked in the region for over 10 years ministering and planting Churches. Rebeca grew up in Tedzidz Mexico and the Lord has brought her back by giving us revelation as to His heart for the people in Tedzdiz.
Our heart’s ache for peoples salvation, because we know how much God Loves them, and how much God wants to bless them by giving them new ways and a new future. We minister to people through gentleness, kindness and with the love of Christ to help lead them to a personal relationship with Him. We know that the Lord placed us here reach the people of Tedzidz and the surrounding areas. We have a vision of Tedzidz being a light of Christ in the region that will be undeniable.
It is so easy for us to talk about our passion for reaching people, and we are so excited for what the Lord has instore for our family! The hardest part is for us to talk about the financial support that is needed to run our ministry. It is difficult discussing our financial needs, but at the same time we cannot do this work without support from our brothers and sisters in Christ.
